I had the distinct pleasure of designing and creating motion graphics for the Tony Awards live show on Broadway, New York. This year, we collaborated with Allan Wells and Ian Kennedy at MDOTS Design to craft custom screen content for the opening act, starring the incredibly talented Ariana DeBose.

Working closely with Scenery Designer Steve Bass, we translated his vision into stunning visuals that lit up the stage. Using After Effects, our team meticulously designed motion graphics that seamlessly blended with the live performance, adding depth and energy to the show’s opening moments.

One of the highlights of this project was the collaboration with such a creative and experienced team. The level of detail that went into syncing our visuals with the live Broadway performance was a challenge we fully embraced. The result? A breathtaking sequence that set the tone for the entire night.

The Tony Awards aired live on Paramount+ and CBS, and it was an absolute thrill to see our work shine on such a prestigious stage. Our team once again delivered top-tier content that made the opening act unforgettable.

Being a part of Broadway's biggest night was an honor, and I’m incredibly proud of the creative work we accomplished together.
