Stage & Screens

I had the privilege of helping bring Broadway’s biggest night to life — the 2025 Tony Awards, directed by Glenn Weiss and produced by Ricky Kirshner. From the opening curtain to the final bow, our creative team worked behind the scenes to ensure that every visual element elevated the magic of live theater on television. Collaborating with a talented crew of designers, producers, and artists, we helped craft the seamless motion graphics, 3D elements, and stage screen content that transformed the broadcast into an immersive, cinematic celebration of Broadway’s finest.

Working once again with Producers Allan Wells and Ian Kennedy from MDots Design, we joined forces with Lead Designer Vince Jimenez, who crafted the show’s stunning broadcast graphics package.  Expanding on Vince's vision, I developed a range of bespoke 3D elements that seamlessly integrated into his designs.

Our team developed scenic motion graphics for the opening act performance, the moving In Memoriam tribute, and full graphics packages for Best Play, Best Revival of a Play, Best Musical, and Best Revival of a Musical.

Each visual moment was powered by a blend of tools — After Effects, Video Copilot’s Element 3D, Cinema 4D, and Unreal Engine — combining precision, depth, and emotion to transform the screens into part of the storytelling itself.

As the lights rose and the performances unfolded, our pixels became part of the stagecraft — an extension of Steve Bass' production design. Creating for the Tonys is always a reminder that motion design, at its best, is performance art.
