We’re proud to celebrate the launch of the Laura Husband's new podcast "Stories That Serve" — a powerful new chapter in the story of a family deeply rooted in faith, courage, and legacy.
Our new friend and client is Laura Husband, daughter of the legendary Space Shuttle commander Rick Husband, an American astronaut who tragically died when the Space Shuttle Columbia disintegrated during reentry. I was honored when she asked me to help bring her idea to life through a thoughtfully designed logo that captures the essence of her family’s story, her deep spiritual faith, and the heart that drives her mission to share her journey with the world.
A Logo That Reflects a Legacy
The logo we created is more than just a visual identity — it’s a symbol of hope, resilience, and purpose. It reflects the strength of the Laura Husband family, the enduring legacy of Rick Husband’s service, and the quiet, powerful faith that guides Laura’s path.
In the design, we used a clean, modern aesthetic with subtle symbolic elements:
- A stylized, elegant design that echoes the legacy of discovery.
- A soft, golden glow that represents the light of faith and inspiration.
- A minimalist, balanced composition that conveys both strength and humility.
This logo is not just for the podcast — it’s a visual tribute to the story of a family shaped by extraordinary journeys and the quiet, profound belief in the power of faith to lead.
A Journey of Hope and Legacy
Laura’s journey is one of courage, grace, and unwavering faith. As a daughter of a national hero, she carries the weight of her family’s legacy with pride, but also with a personal mission: to share her story with others. Her podcast, *The Laura Husband Experience*, is not just about her personal journey — it’s about the broader story of resilience, family, and the enduring power of faith.
Through her words, Laura speaks to a generation of young people, parents, and dreamers who are searching for meaning, purpose, and hope. The logo, with its balance of strength and warmth, mirrors that journey — from the quiet strength of family to the radiant hope of a future shaped by faith.
A New Chapter, A New Beginning
With the launch of the Laura Husband Podcast, we’ve created a space where stories of courage, legacy, and faith can be shared in a way that resonates deeply with audiences. The logo we designed is a visual anchor for this mission — a symbol that connects the past with the present and the personal with the universal.
We’re proud to be part of this journey. It’s a testament to the power of design to communicate emotion, legacy, and purpose.
As Laura said, “Every story has a beginning — and this is mine. I want to share it with the world, not just to honor my family, but to inspire others to find their own journey.”
We look forward to continuing to bring stories like hers to life through our work.
